I'm something of an aspiring renaissance man. Keyword: aspiring. I try not to take myself too seriously and renaissance man is a very serious title.

I'm often heralded as the next best chef, but really I'm just good at caramelizing onions.

I'm a photographer and an active cyclist. I track my performance on Strava, but I only have like 21 followers.

I have a deep knowledge of music and a record collection to show for it—everything from Japanese Jazz to Afro Psychedelica. Believe it or not, I actually play the records.

I love music so much, I even DJ Jake DJing on a set of decks . But I swear I'm not pretentious about it. I'm totally cool and chill.

I just take my coffee black, my eggs over easy, I know way too much about mid-century modern furniture, and I'm a vintage clothing dealer.

I am a Jake of all trades, master of no— well, actually a decent amount. But that's the last you'll hear of it. I promise I'll never bring any of that up in conversation.
